MSI Afterburner how to unlock "core voltage"

Hey mates how are all of you doing?

I am busy with some bench tests and tweaking on my MSI GTX 780 lightning. I am running MSI Afterburner ver 3.0.0 Beta 15...............I have also tried MSI Afterburner ver 3.0.0 Beta 14.

I am struggling to unlock the core voltage in MSI Afterburner. I can set it max to +37mV but that's it. I have tried editing the "cfg" file as well and changing some values there with the full description and changing that one value from 0 to 1 etc and still no good.

I have set my card to LN2 mode as well and it makes no difference

I can get soooo much more out of my GPU if I can unlock the core voltage. Any help pretty please?

Thanks
Ryan

780s should be overclocked using power and temperature targets because you will be tweaking GPU boost 2.0.

If those sliders aren't available then make sure you have the default skin enabled in AB

This is my settings for the overclocking thus far. But I kinda want to up my core voltage more to raise the core clock speed.

I am also using GPU-Z to log highest readings while benchmarking.

As you can see the core clock is upped by +145. If I go higher than +145 then something becomes unstable and then 3DMark11 just bombs out. At this stage I am getting a 3DMark11 graphics score of 15 919........I really need to see the 16 000 mark but something is not letting me.

I have tried putting the card in LN2 mode but I achieve higher frames in standard bios mode than in LN2 mode.

I wanted to increase the core voltage to up the core clock speed..........

@Mater&Puppet I am really not familiar with GPU Boost 2. Please inform me more about it as I am very new to overclocking GPU's......

Thanks for your reply
Ryan

As i understand is that GPU Boost is built into the card and automatically controls everything by itself.

The overclocking that i am trying to do is only to get my 3DMark11 score above 16 000. I know for a fact that if i had to run Heaven Valley on this OC settings it would probably never pass the tests.....
