Mr. Smith cleans up!

Well im on the lappy, rig in bits, new res wont fit but I'm thinking of getting a new case and phase... We'll see what happens! Prob get this rig back on its feet and save a bit up for the forthcoming gfx/cpus etc...

Are you using feser one black with clear tubing? I can't remember and i want to redo my loop in a similar manner.

EDIT - Also, what tubing is that? I'm on clearflex90 and it's turned really cloudy, so am looking for 1/2" ID tubing suggestions that don't discolour. Tygon?

obviously go for tygon IF you have the money. Iv got the XSPC 1/2" tubing...tis lovely. nice and easy to cut too.

But ai..what tubing you got or is that black coolant?? Looks nice. Im thinking it would look good on my case. Red and Black FTW!!!

I use 7/16" Masterkleer tubing as you get a super tight seal over 1/2" barbs with no need for ugly clamps.

The tubing is clear, I use black fesser one fluid.

Rig back on, gfx card clocks higher now it's under water - still testing. Pic to follow... (tomorrow)

Not much of an improvement, I forgot to cut a notch for the mobo power cable :/ cba to sort it out now. So there you have it, a little neater.

On the up my card under h20 afer the flash is crysis stable 756/1890/972 actual. More to come. Finally broke 16k in 3dm06, whish this card was a better clocker!

Naa there is a noticeable difference mate.. Most importantly I feel is that you tidied away all those lil red boxes that were scattered around the case on that first pic.

Nicely done :D

looks nice man...i hate , and i mean HATE having to find ways of hiding cables. would be nice just to have one big one and thats it but hey...

Great improvement...keep up the good work

Cheers lads,

I miss having a modular psu for easy management. I need to sort out the mobo power cable! I couldn't place the pump in the bottom of the case due to space restrictions.

I'm seeing the benefits of w/c the gfx card both in perf and noise levels :)

lol @ Bungral - aye those red boxes were becoming a problem.

Looks very tidy now. I'm very tempted to switch to 7/16" tubing now, as I agree with your clamps view.

How did you get them on? Hairdryer?

Do you still use ptfe on the barbs?

Whilst I'm redoing my loop, I may move from 1/2" to 7/16" tubing, as you've proven it looks so much cleaner

Thanks bud,

You simply dip the tubing in a cup of recently boiled water. This makes is very pliable, you then simply push over the barbs. Once the tubing is on and cools, it's not coming off!

God knows! I used red uv once, that stained the tubes pink, used blue uv in the past too, seemed ok, now black...

No is the simple answer! I think!

Well I thought things were going to work out with this woman I used to date... Alas it would appear not.

So, I thought I should treat myself. I'm going to Italy in the summer now w00t, AND I just bought a new graphics card :D It should provide a nice boost over the GT @ high res.

I have booked Monday off and that's when my Saphire X2 will arrive. (The power color ones seem to be sold out, this one was £5 more so meh.)

Just need to sell my GT.

Pictures Monday along with some higher 3dmark scores ;)

Oh, I'll be on air until a certain someone sends me that mcw60, then I'll be rocking both cores on water...

Italy? forget that, come to the US and bring ur comp so we can have some real fun...:wavey:

PS: very nice job on the clean up.

Thanks man, I'm sure I can make it cleaner but I don't know how lol. I guess the mobo 4pin(?) cable and the bundle of unused cables from the psu are all I can think of.

As for the invite... I really want to go to The States so I might take you up on that offer ;)
