MPower and GTX 770 noob question

I have a MSI MPower and I'm installing a GTX 770 in it when I do my build tomorrow night . Which pci slot should I use for best performance ?? I'm not sure how there wired or if theres a general concensous on this . Thanx in advance

Your motherboard manual will tell you exactly how they are wired, but generally the top one is always 16x.

on a lot of the boards i have worked with in the past have had what type of slot they are printed near it. my rampage 4 extreme does

Thanx to both , I assumed as much but getting more and more white knuckled the closer I get to the build
