When i went to reformat the otehr day, i came across this piece of software
MozBackup
Basically, it backs up everything about your firefox (or other mozilla apps). It backs up your bookmarks/themes/extensions/cookies...literally everything!
When you restore your backup after the reformat, firefox will be exactly the same as when you left it. Personally i find Firefox one of the most redious things to get back to the way it was before the reformat but this piece of software is brilliant.
I havent found any bugs, and it says it doesnt support all extensions, but it works with all of mine.
Also, with the release of Firefox 2.0, should you be tempted to try it out, backup your existing firefox install with this, and if you dont like 2.0, you can easily restore your old settings!
So next time you are dreading a reformat, heres another tool to make life that little bit easier.
