mounting plate issues

OK, this is a lost cause, the skrews are right in, i cant pull it through the bottom because then it cant fit through the holes. I reckon im going to have to get the head changed. IM thinking of doing a chilly upgrade, whats everyones opinions of these...

Doh, it sounds like it all went pear shaped

I should think it would be repairable without needing a new head...

But if you've got the cash and the plans for a Chilly upgrade, then you shouldn't be too bothered?

Break the plate cut it in half or something jam the screw head down tight and twist the metal plate to unscrew the screw

how do you break the metal?

use side cutters wire snips tin snips but do not damage the black plastic of the head

be gentle with the black plastic do it slow and steady dont rush it take it slow

lol, iv got the metal thing wedged up now, should be pretty easy to cut it, i can see a tiny bit of damage around the skrew, do not think that this will be a huge issue.
