well i saw someone post in a thread about hiding the wires inside the a pc case and was thinking what would stop you from re soldering the 24 pin and 4/8 pin on the other side of the pcb so you would then in turn lose a fair amount of wires from the front side of board.
my thinking was to solder a small piece of wire to the board and then crimp terminals to the other end to place back into the socket that was on the face of the motherboard. id guess you would still need to solder the wire from the back side of the motherboard but i dont see that causing an issue
i guess you could also so do the same with other ports on the board
