More Tweaks Please

Hi Guys,

I have just finished overclocking and stability tests on my cpu and memory and have the following running 100% stable:

Phenon II 955 BE at 19 x 200 (3.8ghz) at 1.5v

OCZ Platinum AMD Edition 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 @ 1333mhz at 6-6-6-24 @ 1t

My memory is rated to run at 1600mhz but I can not get it stable anywhere near that so have left it 1333mhz with slightly tighter timings (think this is a mobo issue).

I was wondering if there are any other settings I can tweak to improve performance?, all other settings are currently at stock apart from the ones mentioned above.

Any suggestions would be greatly received :)

Memory Voltage

Memory is running at stock at the sec (1.4v I think), I didnt adjust as it is running stable at 1333mhz.

I did try increasin the ram voltage to upto 1.6v to try and get the machine to boot at 1600mhz but still no joy!

Many thanks :)

2t on the ram may yield the higher clock there.

Other than that 3.8 is a good clock, just make sure its 100% stable.

Stable

I have run prime95 on the machine on all four cores for 24hrs, so as far as I know if it managed that with no problems I think it should be pretty much stable.

Not sure if there are any other settings ie northbridge that I can adjust that would give me a performance boost.

I have kinda given up on tweaking my memory more and I am just hoping that gigabyte will release a bios update which may allow me to get to 1600mhz at some time. I did try it at 2t when i was trying to get to 1600mhz with looser timings (8-8-8-24 @2t @ 1.6v), but no joy.

Any help is appreciated :)
