The Inq reports:

NVIDIA wants to make a frightful din about how two SLI cards can do the great physics job. We are sure it can, but we don’t think it will be able to match Ageia's PhysX cards.

We learned that the company already shipped a few hundred cards and the company wants to share them with the modding community. Ageia desperately needs more content for its cool hardware. It will distribute and sell some cards to the guys that might make some additional content and hope that those chaps can make some cool demos or levels based on Unreal Engine 3 and its Artificial Reality Engine.

Ageia works hard to show Hanger of Doom, a game based on Unreal Engine 3 and it looks like upcoming QuakeCon 2006 will be the place. Usually this event takes place in Texas in August.

People will be able to play Artificial reality game in multi player LAN environment again at QuakeCon. This demo will be heavily Ageia PhysX influenced, as its goal is to boost the physics processing unit card sales. The best gaming mod will be awarded with the nice amount of money. The best part is that Asus and BFG have these cards available today but only for modders who will buy them and sign an NDA (non disclosure agreement) before they can get their paws on the card.

Ageia continues to keep a low profile but also keeps delaying its launch

As the inq reports some are available now - but on pre-order systems only, Ageia have aligned themselves to supplying the OEM first.

Quad SLI rigs wont be shipped for another 6 weeks (funnily enough thats may ;)).

It would be intersting to see if you can configure the same DELL system with and without Physix installed, that would give an idea of the entry price point at least
