Mobo for Q9400 and OCing questions

Right ok fancied a change again and was limited by cash so it was a **** up between the Q6600 or Q9400. Went with Q9400 as it's cooler running and seems to be clock for clock the faster chip and only seems to lack the cache that the Q6600 has. Anyway picked it up saturday and have been having a play today and have to say bloody impressed, it overclocks like crazy The only thing is now, is my mobo holding it back. I managed to get 8x500 with my E8400 but it doesn't wanna go over 460 with the Q9400?

Been looking around and it seems the P45 is best suited to the Quads, so i think with a P45 then 4GHz is extremely possible. Awesome considering the chip costs just under £150.

Sat at 3.6GHz now from 2.6GHz and it's just so easy, it's easier to clock then the E8400.

Q9400

X38-DS4

Skythe Mugen 2

Can anybody recommend a board that will allow me to push the chip a little further as i'm sure this has some balls left still. Also, what is the max safe temps and volts with these chips?
