Mobo for dual Xeon 603/4

Looking for something that 'would be' as new as possible, preferably with standard ddr or ddr2??.

Don't want to break the bank either as it wouldn't be worth my while. If the cost is too much, I'll work around the existing mobo that's a typical workstation one.

Argh, this is really frustrating.

A single crappy cpu thingy, even tho it was free, u'd probably allow them to be disposed of.

2x dual xeon have to be able to work in some fashion in something >.<

Harping back to it's original compaq mobo, it's on the chunky side, with plenty of slots for upgrading sufficiently, but the memory really is the drawback.

I mean I could stock the thing and bank on rdram 'turning up' as time goes by.

Another thought I had was, the memory goes on a daughter board that attaches with a stiffner - any alternative to that ? Kinda thinking compaq wouldn't bother as they cycle through models like nobody's business. Even if I could stick ddr in the thing I'd be happier.
