moar kepler info

I'll repeat myself: THERE'S NO POINT IN SPECULATING. How can a card disappoint you if you don't even know what it performs like? Your view is entirely based on rumours and speculation. Need I remind you that those are very unreliable sources? Would you believe me if I said I stuck a 6-pin PCIe connector in a fresh turd and said it outperforms two 7970's running in crossfire? Didn't think so.

We'll just have to wait for the official reviews guys. If it turns out to be a POS, then you may complain.

Look at it this way, everyone is entitled to their opinion and if they want to share their thoughts then go right ahead. I to like to share my thoughts and take a guess as to what the performance of this card might be and their is nothing wrong with that.

But that's not exactly what's happening now is it?

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But don't confuse rumours with the truth. What's happening now is explained perfectly by Rastalovich:

No news + made up stuff = manufacturer taking the heat.

People are already calling the cards a fail and condemning them while they haven't even been released or properly reviewed yet. "Shoddy benchmark says it's slow, so the card is shite." That's not guessing the performance of the card. In fact, that's just stupid

Anyway, with that aside, MSI accidentally leaked their marketing material on the GTX680:

Pretty meh, still a good card though and better than the 7970 (depending on price).

I don't believe all this "it's a mid range card" stuff though, Nvidia isn't that far ahead of AMD, never have been, and never will be. Both AMD and Nvidia are holding back and milking money though, that is for sure.

On Nvidia forum, a moderator has confirmed that this will be the only range available this year and that I will be in any way the midrange but the high end that will be fleshed out later this year.

Looking at the opencl benchmark it still seems nvidia drivers are crippled..........

What the effin heck is there problem with opencl ???????????

After reading around the net,it looks like Nv screwed Opencl in favour of games with this card(hell,Quadro's aint go sell themselves are they?)

I don't know how legit these are but here are some benchmark results for the 680 from toms hardware which got removed fairly swiftly lol

Oh ok, sorry i haven't been on in a few days

"GK110 Specifications Approximated"

Translation - pulled out of thin air, based on speculation and no hard evidence. To early to even know what the G110 will be like.

So if gk104 is gtx680 surely then the gk110/112 will be gtx7

In which case thats what im waiting for. Unless the amd stuff causes teen pregnancy brews mountain dew and compliments me. The 7000 series do the first two the 8000 needs to do the third to sell me
