moar kepler info

The GPU market is a mess at the moment, beginning of the 28nm GPU generation = price/performance fail with little performance gains

My thought exactly, it is making it kind of hard to spend the 550+ for a damn card. It is lame because they know we will still buy them just due to us always wanting the best...

Wouldn't it be easier to mount 4 highly underclocked 580s on the same board? That would keep temps down and be a powerfully stable card. Am I wrong?

One thing I've noticed, is that you can't do single slot watercooling with the 680, with the tower of power, Nidya also need to give some info out, like where the 680 sits in terms of the range. Its the GK104 right, so thats the lower end... whats the GK110 going to perform like? I hate all this confusion and bull****, no-one knows anything, well use mere mortals won't, until the reviewers or Nvidia themselves release some proper info. Anyway, that test with the 1600x900 resolution monitor and an i3 seems sketchy to me. Final thing, Nvidia is now supporting triple monitors with their new cards, so having the 680 with only 2GB, again seems a little strange, as I said, I'm/ we're all speculating, so....

There's really no point in speculating anymore guys. Every review, result, or whatever, will be questioned anyway. We'll find out the truth in a couple of days. Perhaps even sooner, if some naughty reviewer decides to publish early ;')

jackyboy i hate to burst your bubble , just because the card may have a 4 gb opition does not mean they will have it out on the 2gb release date.Im actaully highly doubting it. you will see it pop when the non reference designs do 2-3 months after release.

There is so much crap floating around and the 7970s are soo good... I'm a bit disappointed that its only a 2gb release and for anyone who needs the upgrade now it just feels like a wait for the nvidia release just to save £50 on the amd prices. I'm fearing a poor oc on these nvidia ones even if they are slighly better at stock anyway.

I'll repeat myself: THERE'S NO POINT IN SPECULATING. How can a card disappoint you if you don't even know what it performs like? Your view is entirely based on rumours and speculation. Need I remind you that those are very unreliable sources? Would you believe me if I said I stuck a 6-pin PCIe connector in a fresh turd and said it outperforms two 7970's running in crossfire? Didn't think so.

We'll just have to wait for the official reviews guys. If it turns out to be a POS, then you may complain.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Getting all excited for this release, but will have to wait longer for the card I will actually buy

Suppose I could just buy one and keep it warm for somebody until the proper one comes out
