Mini-ITX Silent Build

I'm looking to create a mini-itx build in the Bit Fenix Phenom case with these basic specs:

ASUS Maximus Impact VII
i7 4790k
Corsair H105
Corsair Pro Vengeance RAM 16GB 2400 Mhz
Corsair RM 650
AMD R9 290
BeQuiet! Silent Wings 2 140mm x 1, 120mm x2 (rear and front)
Taking over my HDD's from my existing PC (3.5" 1TB, 500GB & Crucial 480GB SSD)

As much as I'm sure that will all work when put together, the real issue i'm having is figuring out how to make these parts look decent within the case; red & black seems to have been done to death. Therefore does anyone have any ideas what path to go down with regards to colouring, lighting etc? I was thinking that the XFX R9 290 DD Black Edition may look quite decent as the GPU, and then changing up the PSU for a Sea Sonic Platinum Series 660. That then mixed with the red corsair ram/H105 trimming could visually work?

Cost isn't really an issue, but I am looking for components that are going to be as near silent as possible due to the case being on my desk next to me. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

Don't bother with XFX cards because they will probably fail. Get a Sapphire card, as they tend to make the best AMD GPUs.

Sapphire used to be decent. Its just ever since the Rx branding came out they started to literally kick everyones ass. Now they are the best coolers out there for AMD(excluding the Lightning).

Bt ya OP stay away from XFX. Those coolers are good but not for any 290/290x card since they can't handle the heat well.

Yeah, I literally never even heard of sapphire before the R9 2xx series :D

Thanks for the suggestion and it is a great GPU but to be fair between it and MSI, there is little difference in performance. I've never ran into issues with XFX hardware before but a 2 year warranty does seem a little tight although realistically an upgrade will be due at around that time I imagine...
Can't decide on the aesthetics though, thinking of going with white lighting or would that look a little bland with the components being so compact?

I like to pick parts with warranty that extends why past my upgrade cycle, not point in getting something that might not make it, it is also nice to have the security knowing if you can't upgrade for whatever reason then you're still covered.

Having looked into it, the space between the side of the card and the case is about 1cm. Therefore I'm thinking of throwing off any aftermarket cooler and replacing it with the Kraken G10, using one of the front 120mm panels as the intake for the radiator. Does anyone have any thoughts on if this would or wouldn't work?
