Hey guys,

I want to start off by giving a huge thank you to certain people, that have helped me over long periods of time to actually come down to what this PC and my other one will be.

A special thank you to Feronix, JR23, Wraithguard and Dicehunter.
Thank you all for all of your help so far and for your continous help and support. You are all truly golden and so experienced with PCs, that it's amazing. And I'm so happy, grateful and appreciative of all the help you've given me so far.

I'm honored to have met you all to come to know some very great minds within the tech world.

Without all of your help, this PC wouldn't be possible. Thank you!.

So with that out of the way... let's kick this build log off.
Since I'm in the process of rebuilding my existing PC, I will use some parts of and old ones, to build a smaller PC.

I will have another build log up soon as well, but since that one is a bit odd, as in how the process of it and lack of photos etc and this one has barely started yet... I thought it would be a better idea to start it off from scratch, without any issues, with this one.

This build may seem almost done in terms of parts, but it will be built and so on, over time. I am in no rush with this build, as I've previously built almost the same system in the Corsair 250D case, which I learned a lot from. So this one will be taken time with and getting it as right as I possibly can.

I present to you... Mini Beaztey (yeah I know, funky name hehe :p).

Anyway, the following parts will be the PC eventually:

Intel i7 2600K 3.4GHz
ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe
8GB Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600MHz
Gigabyte GTX 960 2GB
Silverstone ST65F-G 650W Modular Short PSU
Silvestone Short Cable Kit for Silverstone PSUs
Corsair H80 CPU Cooler + 2 Noctua NF-F12's
Cooler Master Elite 110
HDDs and SSDs are still in the process, haven't got those parts down yet, but an SSD will be the first to come, as that will be boot drive for Windows 8.1 eventually.

Now for some photos of the components on hand, some parts are also on the way and will come shortly.

I do notice now that I may have missed some certain angles of certain components... just live with it! (anyone mocking me about the background and/or picture quality, you suck! :D (as it's taken with an iPhone 5S)):

One downside to this case, is that it doesn't have any dust filter at all, other than the front panel... it has some kind of mesh at the top, but I'm not sure what that's for though... it ain't any dust filter anyway.
Stripted it down necked (who might I be reffering to? :p), to take a look at it and somewhat getting a picture out on how I will build in it, where parts will go, cable management etc... nothing major, just mainly to check it out.

Something I noticed with the front panel... it's rather amusing that the front panel of the case is dust filtered, although the outer part of it, isn't lol:

And now for some more components...

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe

Apologies for no picture of the actual motherboard, as it's currently in my existing PC.

I'm not all that sure about the RAM though to be honest, I'd like to go push/pull on the H80, due to the Nocuta fans are so quiet. But I fear that due to the radiator being quite thick, the fan will interfere with the ram stick, as it might be too tall... will be interesting too see if it fits or not. Might just opt to go with push if seemed OK.

CPU Cooler: Corsair H80 with Noctua NF-F12 fans.

It's a good start to your build, bet you can't wait to get everything thrown in and wired up (neatly) That case is well cutely small, I had to get my H80i out and hold it for a physical comparison.

Thanks for the kind words mate and you're right. Especially with me only being off work 2 days a week, so it's a bit of a hard ass at the moment :p...

But yes, is well cutely small... hence why I went with it. Although, it seems that I always think cases are smaller than they really are in real life, thought it would actually be smaller than it is lol :P

Do you also have it, or did you take out your H80i for physical comparison, as you saw the first image of my H80 and the case togheter?...

Always happy to help :)

Does the H80 fit in the Elite 110? Awesome!

And that's what's so awesome about you, always willing to help out... no matter what! :)

Umm, does it fit? Yes... but will it? Not sure :p... Haven't physically putted it in and test fitted it yet though. Will do it hopefully next week, just gotta backup my current stuff, then install all the new hardware in my current PC.
In order to actually have the ITX motherboard to put inside the Elite 110 for test fit :P

Not sure if it will all go smooth though, as when I had the 250D... The Optical drive actually fell off the case and it was a horrible noise, so may think that the Windows disk may be broken. As it got some scratches on it after that :/...

Hope not though... might just order a new one just in case, as I'm gonna need a new key anyway for the Mini :P

Why don't use just use a USB stick, all versions of 7 and 8 are easily available and transferred to a USB.

JR

Thanks guys for your help, I did find an old Windows 7 disk so will install that, as rather use that one than buy a new OS.

Got a question for you... if you look at the top of the Elite 110, there is a cut out on the top of the case. It has some kind of a mesh over it, but it's not a dust filter though.

I was wondering, would you guys have the PSU so that the fun is up, towards the roof of the case and draw fresh air from the outside of the case, with the hole not being filtered.

Or would you have the fan downwards, pointing down onto the motherboard?...

Thanks,
Chrazey
