The tube glows red/orange, but there's a blue LED underneath it... I wish it was just red/orange tbh.

Man, that looks awesome SuB!:dribble: The glow i can't resist! (like a fly to one of those zappy things!)

aye it's lush init :)

Just wish it was perhaps red instead of blue, or even yellowish orange or something, more like the Tube.

It certainly is!:wiggle:

A yellow/red would look so nice aswell like molten flowing through, still that is a beaut SuB!

I've so bookmarked that ebay page:p

well, despite all of the tube amp goodness i think i will go with a FiiO Qogir E09K.
onward to the headphones.
i am currently looking at the audio technica ath-m50, beyerdynamic dt770 (32, 80 or 250 ohm?) and beyerdynamic dt880.

Between those 3 I'd go for dt770/880, much more comfortable and bigger sound stage. I'm using the M50's and they sound good but after an hour or so the edge of my ears start to hurt. But then again I've seen them recommended all over the place so it might be just me.

i tend to the 770/880 for the same reason, i have to stuff a napkin between the cups of my siberia v2 and my head because else the edges of my ears start hurting badly after an hour.

Go for dt's then.
I've used the DT770 for a few hours and had no problems at all, really comfy. The only reason why I'd still get M50's over DT's is if I would use them a lot on the road since they fold.

ye i suppose they are the better choice. now there is only the question of the impedance left.

I'm currently on a E10 and that's great since it does my DAC and Amp duties all in one, very cost efficient... But oh god tube amps DO WANT

Also, just my 2 cents but don't go for the M50s, I've had a pair and although they were decent SQ wise overall, the bass was a little muddy and on top of everything they didn't like my ears very much :/

i'd have the e10 any time over the e09k, but it's not available anymore and it doesn't look like it's going to return anytime soon.

well. fuck.
i should've read more carefully, the e09k ONLY works as a DAC/AMP when using the e17 as well. i already cancelled the order.

holy hell, those were some intense few hours.
first i was very close to buying an e07k, but i decided that it is too expensive and there seem to be some issues with the combination, after that i was pretty close to importing an e10 from the states over ebay (thank god i didn't), but luckily i sent a mail to fiio first asking why the E10 is gone and it turns out it was on the site all along, just not under dekstop amps for reasons i don't quite understand.
well, i ordered the E10, going to return the e09k and i hope everything will be just fine.

I'm planning to get one from CA, mainly because I only need to walk into town to pick one up (albeit from richer sounds) and Cambridge audio stuff is amazing.

-edit- Probably getting this, I love high quality audio however I'm incredibly sensitive to treble (if that makes sense) so I always have to have things on the more bassy/less treble side).

Also a good one, but have taken the Dac full to me. Hear alot of music and also have a lot of movies on my pc, have tryed out Soundscards alot and when i tryed this out. I was moved whit in 2 min, but then my dear dad ask me to wait and he got it to me. And i'm useing http://www.denon.co.uk/uk/product/p...=headphones&subid=urbanraver&productid=ahd400

Most say that works very very well :)
