Microsoft has released a new "Power of DX12" Trailer, showcasing several upcoming DirectX 12 titles, including a DirectX 12 version of Just Cause 3. Is an update incoming?

I care about dx12.. major performance increases from Ashes so far all from updating an api
However on VR.. that's honestly just dumb and pointless. AR is a cooler concept imo. However either of them probably won't get mainstream for years

Why should i care when it's going to take me 3-5 years to play DX12 games. If you care that's great but i don't.

Why should i give a damn about DX12 when i have no plans returning to Windows 10 and Microsoft can't forced to me to go to Windows 10.

Hollow Deck is better than VR & AR, Good thing about a Hollow Deck you don't need to wear anything.

I was in the same boat as you until I tried an Oculus Rift. My view has definitely changed and I really can't wait until it matures (moar games!) and costs come done. I had actually planned on pre-ordering OR, but the cost turned me away for now.

I just don't care about VR it doesn't interest me at all, I know some people will find that shocking.

With all the promises of the "next big thing" I could see how it's easy to not get caught up in hype. As PC enthusiasts we hear promises all the time that never quite live up to the promises we were given.
