Is there one yet to fix the crashes. The game has gotten to the point for me to were i can not play the game longer than 10 minutes before the game crashes, i just want to know if THQ has released a patch yet?

I have played it through twice and it's never crashed on me. Have you tried different drivers and all that?

i have done EVERYTHING! you are lucky, Metro 2033 crashing is VERY common. there are very few people who have had this game and never crash.

did all that. from what THQ told me is that there engine for metro is VERY unstable on ATi cards in DX11. i can run hours of stability tests on my 5870 and on the rest of my computer and all runs perfect.

I have played it on two ATI cards, one was a 4850 in DX10 and on my 6850 in DX11 and I never had one crash. Have you tried disabling your sound card and using the on board sound? Sound cards can cause problems in some games, so if you haven't tried that give it a try.

Other than that looks like it's just a bit of bad luck.

I have a crosshair formula 3. a sound card is standard.

not a very helpful post i guess but it worked without crashing for me too.

sorry bro as its a great game :|

i have gone through the whole game before on my GTX470 and i thought it was a good game too. but my 5870 just wont play it. and looking on other forums and from talking to THQ support, ATI 5xxx series cards in DX11 just wont play this game.

as it seems like its just and ati issue the only thing i can think of is to test as many driver versions as you can to see if the issue started with a version in perticular, well unless you sell that card and switch to nv :/

i have drivers that go pretty far back on my computer and i have 2 that are the most stable, 10.2 and the new 11.2 that just came out are very stable for me. everything else on my computer works great.
