hi guys
so over the next few weeks I'm building a new rig have most of the parts but a few still to order after measurements etc.

define c meshify
asus crosshair hero vi wifi
ek fluid gaming a240g
corsair rm750x
asus 1070 founders (from old rig)
asus external sdrw-08d2s-lite

have already found out that I'm going to run one intake fan at the front due to space/ lack of for my reservoir.

at the moment I have decided to go green for the fluid so need to grab a couple rgb fans for intake/exhaust so that the case has some life in it.

will load some pics soon as I work out how to lol and when ive got some decent ones.

Hope the photo shows up correctly :)
(can't get the photo to work from my mobile, hope I remember to do something about it when I get home :D)
I haven't made a build log jet, but I'm planning to :D

It's an awesome case. I have a 280mm in the front, and a 240mm in the top.
I'm running the fans as low as possible. And removing the top fanfilter, and the foam filter in the front dropped the water temperature by almost 4c.

so small shopping list of parts to order.

Samsung 960 evo 250gb m.2 drive
Seagate barracuda 1tb 7200rpm 64mb
g skill 16gb ddr4 3200
ryzen 7 1800x
asus GeForce gtx 1050 2gb (to replace 1070 from my old comp)

need to add some corsair fans to this list plus once I have got the rad etc fitted will work out a smooth run for the pipework and no doubt have to order some new fittings from EK

hi guys sorry for lack of posts been poorly, grabbed shopping list and have fitted all of it, just need to grab a cpu and windows.

p.s is win 10 still free or do we need to buy it now

water leak test under way, most admit for a first time water build it was very simple the ek kit is extremely easy to use if you follow the idiots guide.

So water test successful no leaks anywhere, everything powered up and keyboard etc connected but can’t seem to get into bios for some reason.

If I hit del at start up it gives up code 99 and just stays on logo screen with message to hit del/f2 to enter bios.
If I just let it run it is giving code 62 with a blank screen except for curser.

No worries sorted now for the dreaded windows install.

guys is there a recommended newbies guide for overclocking, thinking its time I looked at voltages etc on this new system.
I’m not after fastest just to get voltages sorted to prolong life etc.

Maybe its the camera, but it looks like the tube leading to your CPU is kinked? unless its just me.

Either way, thats a nice clean setup you have. Alot of first timers make a real mess of things with loop layout and cleanliness.

What you could also do is rotate your pump 90o and have the tube from the top rad come directly down into your pump instead of passing over the front of your GPU. Still... damn nice job. If it exposes the PWM/molex wiring from the pump you can sheathe that in black and tuck it under the pump.

Hi warchild
And thanks I’ve actually got a couple 90o fittings on order for that exact reason D

The cpu pipe just looks like that it’s deffinatly not kinked.

I’m very happy with how it’s turned out it’s maybe a bit dark when it’s running so I’m thinking of having a small light behind the reservoir to light that area up going to see if I can find a small rgb for it, it’s surprising how much light the gskill memory gives off.
