Meshed 5.25" blanking plates

Hi All,

Anyone used these before? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-462-LL&tool=3

After throwing my dummy in the dirt with the H100, I've jumped ship and gone to the Antec Khuler 920 but in doing so, I shot myself in the foot! The 920 wouldn't fit in my Obsidian 650D without fouling on the RAM (running a rampage 4 so the ram was in the way).

I was about to create a frankenstien 'half in and half out the top' when I had a better idea. I have managed to get the 920 in the 5.25 drive bays (after forfitting my DVD drive - just going to use external from now on - dont use it that often anyway). I obviously had to remove the blaking plates from the front of the case so I am now looking for some nice looking mesh to hide the 920.

I have already noticed that the case is alot cooler as I have been able to put the 200mm fan back in the roof.

If anyone has any other suggestions or ideas I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks in advance.

i may be able to relinquish the meshed drive covers from my fractal arc midi as using both bays so they're no good to me lol

You threw away your H100 for the Khuler 920?

On Topic: Something like this perhaps?

My H100 was an RMA and then it was going to take weeks to get replacment. I looked in to the stats and the 920 was about 1c behind the H100 and I can live with that so I got a 920. I LOVE Corsair stuff (I have RAM, keyboard, mouse, gaming headset, GT SSDs etc) but I was really disapointed with the H100 - when I got it, the pump was grinding and the bracket didn't fit as it was bent, after further research on the internet, it seems loads of people have the same issue. The 920 is smaller and quieter so I'm happy and I also find that because I can put my 120mm fan back in the roof, the whole rig is cooler expecially the GPUs.

Haven't you considered the temp:noise ratio? :p Maybe you're not a silence freak...
