Memory in Mailbox Overnight

My stupid landlords don't ever check the mail, which means I never get my mail... ever! I order some ram and it came in the mail yesterday... however, my landlords haven't checked the box nor have they notified me of its arrival. It's close to freezing outside and gets up to 25 Celsius in the morning... will the ram be ok outside with the humidity and temperature changes?

I suppose that situation isnt the best, but doesnt mean its a definate nail in the coffin for it, dont forget its be out in the elements for a day anyways going thru the mail system. I would like to think its been package well enough to protect it (eg in a jiffy bag, and usuailly they put those moisture gel thingys in there). All i would say is dont drop it into you system the moment you get it, take it out the packing and kinda let it adjust to room temps and allow time if there is any moisture build up to dissapate. if it is fubar, then you can just send it back as faulty. let us know how you get on.

As above

. Just check for condensation and let it dry and you should be fine.

Same with almost any electronic equipment. If there's no power going through the circuit, then the components are fine until switched on (most of the time). Wait for it to dry completely before using it, it should be perfectly fine.
