Hello all. I just have a quick question to ask. I'm building a Budget Gaming pc which will be based on an MSI Gaming M3 Z270 motherboard. I will be upgrading my i3 cpu to an i7 and my 1050ti to a 1070 in time due to money availability. However I accidentally order 1x8 Gb stick of corsair vengeance lpx which I thought was a 2x4gb pack. My question is if I was to buy another 1x8 stick would that work fine? Then I won't need to upgrade that in the future. Many thanks in advance

As long as you buy the same speed yes it will work fine.

Youll still need to enable XMP in the BIOS to get the memory working at its rated speed though
