Mem for X99

Hallo all.

I have an X99 Setup, that im pretty happy about.
But i got an little problem, with oc my kingstone Prededor 3000MHZ DDR4 kit.

Because, i am trying to hit that 4.4 GHZ mark on my 5930k. its no problem as long i am using the men as default 2133 and also no problem at 2400, but they don´t have any 2400 MHZ XMP profile, and i am getting some stutter in gaming while i have em in 2400 MHZ.

I think there is no way that i will get 3000 MHZ as long i am trying to oc the CPU.

so now i am thinking, maybe i should get some 2400 MHZ Mem or im doing something totally worng.

Any good ideas?

You could input the timings etc manually you know? No need for XMP

i have never tried to type the timings manually. But there are still no 2400 MHZ profile, but maybe i should shot after 2666 MHZ
its should be like DDR4-2666 CL14-14-14 @1.35V

You can follow them, however you should know that all of them are different... You are going to (or at least should) spend quite some time finding the sweet spot.

you don't need to mess with all timings, just lcas timings will do, i.e. something like 9/10/9/10/24 etc. you can give it some loose timings first and then work from that, cas11 should manage 2400 easily

Okay, but are there some tool i can test with, so i know that the timings are stable?
