As someone who has over 3000 hours in Destiny 1 and over 5000 hours in Destiny 2, I am confident when I say "No it won't" or at least not smoothly.

Bungie are unable to get Destiny 2 to run smoothly on the current consoles or PC, they are unable to release a patch without it breaking more things that it is supposed to fix and there is currently a large list of items that are broken in Destiny 2 with no date insight of when they might possibly be fixed.

There has been a bug ever since around "The Warmind" DLC where the higher your frame rate the more damage you take in PVE content, Bungie supposedly fixed it, but it's still happening.

Since the nGreedia 30 series there has been a memory leak which causes the game to crash after 6 hours if you have the frame rate uncapped, that has been reported to Bungie and nGreedia but none of them have fixed it, and if you leave your framerate capped at 120 or 144, the game crashes after 12 hours.

Bungie needs a new engine for games but they refuse to move and instead are still using the modified engine from Halo 1 iirc.

I really hope we'll see more games utilize the PS5 Pro capabilities to full extent since I just bought one in case the price of consoles skyrockets before GTA VI is released, lol.

With how memory prices are going, it is likely that we will see console price increases. That's probably a good bet.

Sony's new version of PSSR should also make games look a lot better. It will use a lot of AMD's learnings from FSR 4. Project Amathyst at work!

I think more games using PS5 Pro hardware is inevitable because neither Sony nor MS are going to release any home console with current memory prices. It's way out of the target audience budget. So devs will have more time to use it.

Just my 2 cents
