Making my spacebar stiffer

Do you know the moment when you just want more and more bass, but there are a few extra noises around? For example, your keyboard. In my case, the spacebar is the loudest creature moaning every time I do something involving lots of bass. And no, I won't turn it down.
This video will quite show what I mean : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qljp_8eeMNk&feature=youtu.be
Turn your bass to zero and the volume up a bit.
It might not sound loud, but it is. It can sometimes be heard from the living room.

Does anyone know a simple fix to this problem which I should have realized already? I don't really want any "Well you can just pick up some weapon-grade uranium from the nearest kwik e mart thousands of miles away" but something small to put under the spacebar, spring or keyboard. I don't know, do you?

Thread title almost suggests NSFW

Thread content suggests First world problems..

Seriously though, foam, neoprene, bluetack..

Any compressible noise reducing medium will do it, it's a case of how hard do you want the space bar to be to press.

Option 2, use some of that first world cash flow to get a different keyboard

Pull the space bar out, wrap the peg on the keycap that sits in the hole in something thin. It should prevent horizontal movement but also increase the actuation force.

(I'm not responsible for damage of keyboard :p )

Yeah it's a sidewinder. It's a couple of years old and it's seen alot of bass in it's lifetime.
SPS that was a great idea! Instead of talking about first world problems and other useless shit, you actually said something that I could do immediately and which fixed the problem.
I wrapped two pieces of contact paper on the two pegs on the sides. The spacebar itself didn't get too stiff, it's propably even better, I think. I cranked up the volume and only the keyboard itself was vibrating now. Thanks SPS!

Watch your tone fella, it's called having a joke. We keep things light hearted around here. I didn't say anything offensive and offered a serious solution.
