Doesn't mean you can't get over 512. Things like LLU and ADSL2/2+ force as much as possible down the line, and Cable or Wireless won't be affected at all.

yea, it cant take over 512, and it can barely take that as it is. The connection is sketchy as hell. Im on about when im move though

well im screwed, my line struggles at 2mb.

Looking at all the exchange lists for 8mb and the Be service, they seem to form a perfect circle right around me (in hindley, wigan)...My exchange sucks

Dsl max forces a much as possible down your line, have a look at www.samknows.com and see when you'll be getting it.

Not much point in SMP, as neither voip or CSS will utillise it.
