Make my Decision for me please

I want to post his here and not in the GPU thread as I know some of you guys in here are using GPU for folding and that is where most of my GPU work is being done atm as well (seldom have time for games atm)

My dilemma - I have £200 to spend ona new GPU which I could perhaps push to £230 max. I have been reading alot of reviews on all different types of GPU and think that the 560 is in the right price range and will do what I need, and this is where my problem starts.

I was looking at the Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti, MSI GTX 560 TI Twin Frozr, and now EVGA 560 Ti,

Could you guys recommend which one would be most suitable? I would like to buy from Scan (free delivery) but am willing to buy elsewhere if need be. I would have bought the MSI based on peoples reports of good customer service and a fre upgrade

but they are out of stock atm. I have just read that EVGA cutomer service is good and they have a 10 year warrant (wow) and I also know that from one of Toms vids that the gigabytew is pretty silent.

So please help me make my mind up

Thanks

Twin Frozr all the way man!

Though that is a handsome lump of cash to snowball into what you'll need for an upcoming 6990/ GTX 595

I went with the Asus 560's with the twin fan cu heat pipes. I decieded to try the ASus as I have other twin frozr cards that are good but don't oc all that well. These Asus cards are both at 1000Mhz and folding like crazy.

Just another option as both the Asus and MSI were the same price.

Ok thanks so far, my only concern is the warranty period with MSI 12mth. I had not considered Asus until now as it was more expensive but it does fit withing budget. Argh need to make my mind up.......

Just found this but it looks a bit tacky Palit 560

This is still pending a decision by me

I am gonna have to commit sometime soon but think I will wait until I am back from a few business trips in the next month when my machine will be off while I am away. The reason for this is if the 590 and 550 come out they may effect the price of a 560 or I may have enough for a 570 by then.

Well Aria were practically giving away 570s. I only just checked my email but they had MSI 570s (refference) at £200. Might be worth checking out, Chuds.

I just looked on their site and can only find them for £270 upwards.

@Todd no worries matey, I thank you just for making me aware of it. I may have a bargain on a 560 coming just waiting to find out the price on it,
