Make AMD or i7??

I am planning a gaming rig build real soon here are the specs buut would like to know your thoughts.

(Amd Build)

MB: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 (ATX Mboard)

Pro: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE 3.3 GHz (possible overclock 4Ghz)

Ram: 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz

1TB HDD

128 SSD (possible extra)

Gfx: 2x ATI/Asus HD 6870's

700w PSU (possibly Coolermaster or Artic power)

help me here with suggestions (black)

the intel build is really the same buut using Z68 UD5 Board and a i7 2600k Chip, I am also possibly looking at getting a decent SSD, possibly either water/gel cooling depending on price

Any Ideas on what you might Add/change??

Looks good.

But you should better go with a single 6970.

Edit : I saw you added i7 as a possibility, so definitely go with Intel! 2600k is just way more powerful than any am3 chip to the date, and you should take a look at GTX470.

Don't get 16 gigs of memory, you will never use that. Especially for gaming, outside of that the system looks solid.

700w PSU (possibly Coolermaster or Artic power) this is where I'd chage I'd go with at min a 750watter if not 850 for xfire/sli and defo not CM

For nearly the same money,i would get corsair tx 750 v2 psu.

8gb ram should do it.

And save up some money, buy a cheap p2 550 dual-core,and buy a bulldozer cpu when you can afford it,if you want to go the amd route.

For gaming,i would chose intel i5-2500k,asus p67 sabertooth,gskill ripjawsX http://www.gskill.co...s.php?index=357 ,msi gtx570 twin frozr III.

Important also,get noctua nh-d14 also

get a 2500k instead of a 2600k, 8gb is more than enough, get a 570 for sli at a later date...
