it could be interference in the cabling or speakers, much like if you have a telephone next to a speaker and you recieve a message. Otherwise I would gets something like Process Explorer and check to see if there are any hardware interrupts. I've seen HW Conflicts between the HD Audio controller on the graphics card and the Onboard Audio controller. Last time I saw this it was a HD 5670 on a Asus A8-MVP motherboard. but it either caused the computer to crash, run extremely poorly, or when it did decide to work there was a constant static noise and all audio was out of sync.
