Macs and PCs found shacking up

Rasta remind me why you are not on the news team?

No offence to Rasta, but I think it is because he rarely ever posts news.

If he ever does, it is all posted in one quick burst (like today).

Maybe he should be a freelance news poster? lol

Disco.

When the thread came up about needing a regular guy for that sorta thing, I can't really commit time to it on a regular basis, it'd be unfair to oc3d for me to say I could. There are infrequent times where I do actually have to do some work here lol.

.. and sometimes I have time on meh hands :p

(other than that, I'll spam this sorta stuff whenever some1 mentions it's quiet in chat)

macs aint... bad they just cant do anything aswell as a pc imo, used a mac for several months, the cost of a half decent mac you can get a pretty ok gaming pc then just install leopard if you realy wanted to.

Yeah true, I'm just playing around. I owned a macbook for 6 months. Over payed because I didn't use it's media editing features that only a mac posseses. But if your a music or movie producer, you definitely gotta get a mac, and you definitely get what you pay for. :)

The media editing software exists for PC, you just have to pay for it. If I were producing music or movies, I'd want to be able to render things using a high end workstation GPU, or record and playback music using a high end soundcard, neither of which are possible on mac.

DrWho is done on them m8. Infact all the editing for the hd programs here are also done on them.

All the gear is available.

Rather than gpu tho, they have some crazy 8x zeon quad mf setups. But then leopard runs apps closer to linux as opposed to windows.
