Mach III discussion thread

We now know it's coming, so to avoid OT discussion in other threads i thought i would start one here.

Anyone who knows specifics is obviously silenced under NDA, but the rest of us can still discuss right?

Ive got no ideas on ETA, posts on XS seem to suggest them heading for a smaller compressor, which means they may be going for the silence, low power draw route, i would guess with similar temps to the Mach II GT, maybe with better load.

New mounting system is a must IMO, hopefully a better evap as well.

Let me know your thoughts guys.

Excellent :)

Well I know an ETA is doubtful  ... but any rough ideas ie. first or second half of 2006. It would be nice to know, as I am considering phase very seriously. :D

What would rock, for me, is a better Evap head design along with easier (and definately cheaper!) mounting kits to move between sockets. To find a way around the use of seal string would be nice but Mav, Scorchio and myself already have workarounds for that. Some more control would be nice, but I wont need to worry about that for long either ;)

I guess most people will look for similar things in their Machs?

Smaller compressor may not mean less power :D

newer compressors are getting more eficiant and can move more gas

I want what we have now - but quieter - perhaps using 3x78cfm 120mm fans instead of the fans they use now.

R507 gassed as standard with de-super condensor and chilly1 type head and mounting assembly and tuned to 220w heat removal.

And:

As above but larger single stage compressor with SLI nipples and univeral GPU mouning kits.

And:

The cpu kits should move away from seal string and move to neoprene where possible.

It'd be better if you didn't need the user to mount any insulation at all. It could all be built into the the head and mounts.

This would inturn increase the potential market, as many poeple are put off at the thought of having to insulate their motherboards.

Features which would be nice:

# Silence

# Easy install and insulation technique

# Maximum compatibility

# Fast start up

# Smaller

# Improved user interface

and of course a tiny price tag :D

Lol because you mashed the mounting kit justin

i didnt, it was a certain someone...It was my fault for using the wrong allen key.

Im hoping for:

maybe better load

better mounting

maybe abit sexier, so we dont all have to buy lian li kits
