Mach II GT sensor problem

I have a Mach II GT and everything is working fine, but the evap temp is now way off!

I can start the Mach II up and the temp reads about -26c and then gets hotter and goes up to 32c.

I manually started my DFI board as I new it was the sensor and sure enough it fired up no problem, it reads -26c CPU temp in BIOS

So it is the sensor thats gone for sure.

I reflashed the firmware, but the problem still persists

Any sugestion? I have heard the temp sensor is a bugger to replace. Should I just live with it? Is there a way to bypass the sensor or edit the temp to a constant lower reading?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Cheers

OK I now get the dreaded "sensor fail 99c" message and the Mach II switches on and off really quickly :(

Any ideas as to a work around for this problem?

Cheers :D

Hi Mickey, it's diagnosis time I'm afraid - it's either the sensor OR the controller. It's impossible to tell at this stage - you need to contact me via email to get this arranged.

OK problem solved :)

Had a chat with Shannon and managed to get the unit back up and running again. It was just a loose connection :D

Nice one - I forgot you had direct dealings with Shannon - most helpful :)
