Mach 2 GT No USB Comms

Hi, Ive had my GT for a couple of years or so and I wanted to alter my start up temp, but the mach 2 software says usb error and I cant see it any more in device manager.

I disconnected and reconnected the usb cable and tried something else in there which worked fine but theres still no mach2 in device manager and nothing unrecognised anywhere.

Is my control board fooked ? or has anyone else had this prob

Welcome to the forums first off

Ok what you need to do is remove all control center software, then plug the mach in and wait for it to be recognised when it asks for the software install it through device manager, when you see nventive mach2 in device manager then re install the control center software...

If you have never had your mach connected the first make sure the usb cable is wired correctly to your mobo some need one wire swapped around

Hi, thanks for the welcome and the info, have you a pin out for the J4 connector on the control board so I could check that the pins are connected correctly to the usb header on the mainboard

Just check it against what you have connected to the mobo that will be the only end you need to change

trouble is a couple of the wires have pulled outta the plug at the controller end so i need to know the order of them
