Got my Mach 2 today after a last minute crazy idea to buy (thanks Phil!!!!) had a enlight case to match  so have made the necessary cuts to fit the tube and wires through and also the 4 holes for the bolts to join them together, only thing is the holes in the base unit dont have any threads in :( have to borrow my Father In Laws tap set tomorrow and Ill be set :)

Nice, it brings back memorys of my enlight case, although I didn't think the case was tapped, but that a nut went on the other side of the bolt? However, a tapped case would probably be more classy!

Get some pics up if you can at some point :)

Have fun :D

managed 3.3ghz from my 146 not bad for a £117 chip :) one slight problem the hose is too long and sticks out the side of the case which means I cant get the side panel on :( dont want to force it obviously any ideas?

Yeah thats the reason i run my pc with no side panel.

There are 3 options

1) Run with the side off

2) Get a DFI Expert board (the cpu socket is in a less stupid place)

3) you can bend the hose but only do so when its not running (or when its been running recently)

Good clockage aswell, does your cpu not have a cold bug then?

Nice clocks with the 146 :)

You might buy 4 very long bolts and some metal tubes.

Then you can make a hole in the bottom for a 120mm fan to pull in cold air and find a way to cover the sides between the case and the Mach.

A little ghetto solution.

only idea i can think of it to get some one like fatty or gray mole to shorten it for you for a cost lol, or get a pc60 and make it fit properly.. last option been cheapest and look the best

If he shorten it, then what would happen if he change MB and case?

Are you sure the pc60 case would get the problem solved?

Nah the pc60 still wouldnt fix it as it would be exactly the same, you could put a filler in between the mach 2 and the top case, something about 2" high would do nicely

Yep i think thats what ill have to do, which i all honesty wont be too bad, got a sever shortage of space for hdds :D

It great to now that that board don´t fint without any modifications. Now i JUST HAVE TO BYE ANOTHER ONE :D

The cold bugg is when it starts to get down to like -70degres Celsius. So LN2 isn´t somthing it likes.

o well -70 not much to worry about then :p

I dunno Exstaz i've seen a few with cold bugs around -20 on opty's. I think K404 on here has one thats pretty bad. And some folks over on XS had it around the same so had to adjust the amount of dry ice to keep temps around -15

What are the Hard drives mounted on broadmax57 ?.

If it is polystyrene or foam could realy cause the drives to overheat as little air flow.

Probably be better making some mounting plates to allow air to flow round the drives.
