Is their a way i can connect my PC laptop that has a working burner too

; MY MAC laptop that has a non functioning burner ,So

I can install The new mac OS on my MAC laptop ???

how old is it? if it is still in warrenty head over to the apple store and they will replace it for you, for free!

Out of warranty

nah, I wish it was still under warranty its 2-3 yrs old MAC bookPRO .. Im just trying to avoid having to buy a 50$ external burner or worse pay the 200$ bench fee for total drive replacement, i did alittle research and turns out on those MAC Bookpro's they have to peel some sticky edge off first to even reach the screws, i want no part of that myself..

BOOTup conflict maybe

GREAT IDEA, But since i never installed an OS on MAC, i can mount it with Daemon; but will it require a reboot in the midst of the install? i mean will it require the mount to be read prior to the os bootingup like in windows, because daemon is an object utility in that it requires the OS to be fully booted to be accessed..

& in OS installs they tend to be installed from a first boot up device..

I hope my question makes sense

Boots fine

yep no prob with it at all except its running Tiger and the Burner dont work..

Im just sayin i understand i can use a crossover cable to connect it, then copy the ISO over to the MAC use Daemon tools to MOunt the image BUT, what it in the middle of the install like in widows it requires a reboot and continues PRIOR to the OS fully booting up THUS, it cant make it to daemon tools ...

hope that makes more sense

True, external only dude. You can purchase them cheap nowa'days surely!

Far as I'm aware, u can get the dvd copied over to the mac, iso form would probably work best, mount it on the mac and run it.

Even without an iso, I believe u can copy all the dvd's files into a folder on the tiger install, at the root is probably best, and run it.
