As you know by now i'm looking at building me a pc for gaming and online gaming, so i was wondering should i go with m-atx, atx or xl-atx, wand what would be the benefit of the best one

Go with whatever fits your case best. There will not be any major advantages other than the number on graphics cards you can install on the board.

so for gaming a m-atx board with maybe 2 2gb cards for dual view and futureproof?

With the right hardware an matx gaming system with 2 graphics cards will perform very well and will give you years of gaming pleasure. However you need to be cautious about your cooling because the cards will be stacked on each other limiting airflow to at least one of the cards.

and in the case of price? Whats best?

In price terms there doesn't tend to be much of a mark up either way. There are a greater selection of ATX boards though which does mean it is slightly more competitive.

lets compair an E-ATX and m-ATX motherboard from asus. Prices in the U.S. on the Maximus V Gene are $199.00 Price for the Maximus V Formula are $279.00 specs are very similar the Formula motherboard has one additional PCI3 slot, a better audio chipset, a mini PCIE slot and 2 additional SATA 6Gb/s ports other then that the specs are very similar. You just have to determine if the extra cost is beneficial for what you want.
