Low bus speeds 3770K

Hey guys,

I'm busy with OCing my 3770K but I noticed that my clocks are lower then the multiplier because of my bus speed being low all the time (and fluctuating).



Its usually around 98 MHz while it should be 100 MHz, right?

Could anyone enlighten me why this is the case and more so, how I can get it back to 100?

Check if you have set it to 100 in the bios. Maybe update the bios as well.
Fire up OCCT or Prime95 and see if the multi stays down.

that's the strange thing, I just reset the bios to optimized defaults so it should be good.
Also I haven't found the setting for it yet, the msi bios is kind of strange

Anyone any idea where I can find the Bus Speed setting in the MSI Z77 MPower bios?

I read somewhere that it's the Base Clock, but that's set to 10000..

baseclock is FSB, it's in HZ and not MHZ 10000 HZ = 100 MHZ
