Low 3DM06 Score

I can pull +16k on '05, and only manage 5300 in '06 :O :O :O

Same settings as '05... is there anything i need to know...?

I have tried 81.95 and 83.40. FX55 @ 260x13. 7800 512s @ 600/1900.

I did have to add 3DMark06 to my advanced gfx setting list manually. Is 06 not supported by any drivers yet?

I know that '06 is more dual-core friendly, but surely there is sumfin wrong with my score?

Dual cores make a fair bit of difference in 06. But I think you should be getting nearer 10,000 :?

What points are you getting for each test within 06? If you know that you can narrow the problem down. Have you tried running Rivatuner H/W monitor in the background to check for throttling?

Saying that i noticed Fatty 57 at 3.5 only managed 7000:O

will check tonight... cheers. The cards are so close together that it is very possible they are throttling... need an Expert or MSI.

Definitely worth checking - I pushed my old 6800 too hard once, and to my surprise my 3DMark scores were dropping as I clocked faster. Little did I realise it was throttling, until I followed the core speeds on the graph 8)

Well... the cards aren't throttling ... i'm stumped.

with my FX-55 oc'd to 2.8GHz and my GTX oc'd to 490/1280 i get around 4100 3dMark06. if you find what the problem is please lemme know aswell as i find my scores low aswell. have an opty 175 on the way, will see what scores i get then.
