It was time to dust out my case again. so Took some pics and did some benches so I could post it finally on here. I mainly use it for gaming, media storage and streaming device.
The System
Intel Core i7 980 @ 3.74Ghz Oc
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7
Mushkin Blackline 12GB, PC3-1600, 2000 MHz 3x4GB
MSI R6970 Lightning
Noctua NH-D14
WD Velociraptor 450GB, 10.000Rpm, 32Mb
WD Aaks 610 GB, 7200Rpm, 16Mb
WD Caviar Black 1TB, 7200Rpm, 16Mb X 3 in RAID 5
Coolermaster Silent Pro 1000W
First of all, I've been a Lian-Li fanboy for a long while. I've only bought like 3 cases in over 10 years. My first case I bougth was a Lian-Li Pc-68, couple of years back I got me a Lian-Li PC-A10B. I love the looks of this case, But will be replaced by my first non Lian-Li case somewhere in the future. Already have it but will be modded first.
So first of all The case
Case exterior looks good but has also quite a few flaws within.
The biggest let down is the cable management. Things like HDDs facing forward and no cable pass trough behind the Motherboard make it difficult to look tidy. Also the Airflow was awfull stock, had to add an extra fan in the drivebay's.
I have been messing with computers quite a while but never had a go with overclocking before I got this rig. So the overclock isn't that amazing.
Here are some benches
It could undoubtfully improved. As for now this will do.
Also here are pics to be found of my entire setup
