I seem lose audio on my laptop every time the CPU hits 75+. I haven't re-TIMed the CPU because it's a b***h to pull the the motherboard out, so I went about fixing the heating issue externally. I didn't want to spend 40 to 80 dollars on a laptop that is now a stop gap measure(ordered PSU, ETA: a week or 2). I grabbed 4 fans from my Phenom II based desktop, and proceeded to let my "MacGuyver" (more like Wile E. Coyote) instincts take over.
I'll link the thread to the rig: Modded HP Pavillion dv9000
(the 2 on the left have been joined by 2 on the right, with a ruler keeping the left fans parallel).
Is my retarded setup enough? Or is it something else (something dying/solder damage)? Not being able to use iTunes to listen to music or getting audio on YT sucks.
