Looking to install a sound card onto my desktop pc

Hello my question is what sound card should I get for my desktop pc and to let you know I really like to watch a lot of movies, listen to music and also I'm not an audiophile so if there's a sound card or program that can teach me that sort of thing it would be much appreciated price is no concern so anything is fine thanks and have a great day

Unless you have pro level headphones then the STX II is a waste of money.

What headphones are you using by the way ?

Well over here in europe it will be a different price to where you are in the states so you will have to go look

You will probably get the best deal from Amazon or similar over there

The STX II will cost you around $400 but again these are only for high end speakers or headphones, I'm talking headphones in the $200+ category, Anything less would be wasted.

Also, if they are the cheap logitech speakers I think you're talking about. Don't even bother wasting money on an expensive sound card..

Then nothing but the STX and STX II should be on your list. Only ones that will be able to drive them. STX 2 will be a better option if audio is a very big concern. Would be worth the money. Then again its probably not a better option since you are only getting the SP2500s which means you aren't that serious about it otherwise studio grade monitors would be on your list
