Looking for other Aussie Enthusiasts!

Actually I have found Umart Melbourne to be rather decent, purchased my Black white version of the H440 from there and the item arrived 2 days later. No hassle or anything, similar to my previous experiences with PCCG. Price was pretty good too, but now I have a spare H440 Black blue that I am not sure what to do with.

Cant tell you about their warranty department or actual customer service though, as I did not have to make any inquiries or anything.

Well the biggest problem i have with umart is they don't keep there website up to date with correct pictures for items, I ordered a FD Arc mini R2 from umart and they sent me a normal FD arc mini and they have done that crap to me for the last 8-10 years with the fuck up on the case that was the last straw for me never setting foot into another umart shop ever again and the case came from the Melbourne store.

TBH i have never had a problem dealing with RMA's through PCCG, even just getting advice from them on the phone.

Each to their own I guess, though I will admit PCCG's warranty department is one of the best at the moment, regardless of my experience with them.

Actually Just opened my order from PCCG and what do you know, instead of 3 PH-F140SP with white LED's, they shipped me 2 white and an orange xD

Stuff it can't be bothered waiting for 2800mhz kits to reappear. Just going to get the 2666mhz kit..... they're plats so they should clock to 2800mhz or higher anyway.

Oh, I thought you were waiting for the 3000mhz kits, I've actually seen quite a few 2800mhz ones in stock. Have you tried staticice.com.au?

Also arent the 2800mhz/3000mhz kits the same as the 2666mhz ones anyways, just OC'd? Or do I have it wrong?

Essentially what you're paying for is the garuntee from cosair that the stocks you have will run at the rated speed.

Yea tried static ice.... no one has any stock. Yea i was going to get the 3000mhz but they just disappear efore you even realise theyre bsck in stock.

I ended uo getting ny Rampage V and 2666mhz plats from PCCG..... and my 5960x should arrive monday so everything should show up about the same time.

Next week is new case, and entirely new wc set up.

Hey guys fellow Aussie here. i live in Sydney, 10 minutes away from the airport

Welcome to our little local clubhouse within the forum.

Im over parra way

Edit.

Btw this is literally the ultimate ROG/Corsair Rig.

As it stands specs are-
5960X
Rampage V Extreme
2666mhz Dominator Platinums
R9 290X Rog Matrix Platnium
ROG Raidr 240gb pci ssd
Corsair AX860
3x 2tb hhds.

Everything that can be corsair or rog is.

Probably getting a 900D so over my switch 810.

Also if you guys had to choose a third color to offset the Red and Black what would you guys pick?

Oh and i think ibe thought of a name for the build.....

Yea I thought so, hopefully you get a decent kit and can OC your way there instead of paying for it :b I managed to get my G.Skill 2666mhz kit to run have 2800mhz fine without having to increase the voltage or making many adjustments. Could go higher, but see no need for it but am just too lazy.

Enjoy the 5960x, I ended up just getting the 5930k instead, as I would have had to wait another month for it.

I know the Vengeance LPX 2800mhz kits come with a preloaded XMP for 3k

Oh and i added more to that last you may not of seen

I had a beast of a 3930k.... got it to clock 5.1 on all 6. But going to another Hex would be pointless at least going to the octo it feels special

ahh, well thats nice. I havent bothered to OC my 5930k much, I just got it to 4Ghz and had it run at the lowest stable voltage. The smoking VRMs etc kinda put me off it a little. at the moment it is running at .97v 4Ghz happily, so cant complain. Might try OCing it higher some other time.

So any of my fellow Aussies bought from PLE as they are the ONLY store with a Corsair 780T and everything else I want in stock today apart from the rgb m65 which no one has yet so Im thinking of ordering from them so any feedback on them cheers

I would recommend PLE , Ive bought more hardware off them since the Titan.

Thanks but I already took the chance and bought from them and I have to say that my dealings with them were excellent and I would buy from them again and would also recommend them, they have been in constant communication with me and did everything they could to get my order out to me as fast as they possibly could they completely surprised me

Not to mention their shipping rates. One of the best, though I've been able to get better just simply because I reside in Melbourne.

Their watercooling gear is also quite good, though they dont have the new stuff as soon as some others do.
