Looking for a MMO to play

A group of people made oblivion multiplayer. It wasn't perfect by a long stretch and took about 6 weeks to download/install and configure it all.

An eldar scrolls MMO would be well wish though.

i swear u can pvp in SWG... well atleast i did when it 1st came out?

Wow got boring after the you explore everything... then again i played it twice 6 months each.. lol

Waiting for AoC aswell :D.... but its been delayed AGAIN :(.

Yeah after the first 30 or so levels WoW becomes more of a job than a game...its not great... I was gonna try out LOTR Online until I heard that it was awful, anybody play it?

I dunno, I used to think that WoW would become a job and so on, but I can say it's actually really fun after playing all the way to 70 on a few characters. The expansion pack is coming out which adds new stuff and hey...10 million subscribers can't mean it's too bad right? lol

Other than that, I'm looking forward to Warhammer, it looks pretty sweet

Doing a 7 day trial on LOTRO, and it does look very nice with everything set to high with 4xaa and dx10 enabled. (could do ultra high but gets a bit laggy with aa on, espcially with alot people about)

I'm quite liking the look of Conan, however it really hacks me off with the montly charges for subscription. I just wish they wouldn't!

Guild Wars was very succesful IMO and never needed anything more than the 20quid to buy the game in the first place.

There was a Beta of Conan on Gamespot the other weekend, seems rather bug filled from some of the complaints in the feedback section.

For the op, how about Stick Rpg ;)

I'm still playing GuildWars every now and again :)

I get put off by the monthly fees of MMO's as I don't play them that much really. I norm only play to have a change from CS:S.

I played WoW but got bored :( took too much time and money.

I've played pretty much every MMO out there... some good with longevity and some truely dire. I played MMO so much I was the MMO Specialist at the ISP I used to work at!

I still play WoW after 2.5 years although I have taken large breaks in that time (when son was born etc) and can offer help if you want a medium population server (just PM me).

Game's I would avoid like the plague are The Matrix Online & Lord of the Rings Online

Both are really bad in terms of plot, graphics, and general gameplay. Hell if you want the account you're welcome to them!

Anyone tried Age Of Conan yet?

No, but something is nagging at me that I should be trying it. Those I know are in it aren`t exactly dismissing it, and from the sneaks I`ve heard it isn`t bad (whilst not being the best ever!)

It`s got an adult mentality about it apparently. Think I`ve even got an invite from months ago >.<

I've been looking at warhammer online and it looks ok, seems a lot of beta testers are saying it's not too good atm tho :(

I've even noticed some of the beta testers have moved to AoC as it seems a lot more finished than WAR

What would be better is a Warhammer 40K MMO, I guess MMOFPS would fit it well :)

I just noticed that I got sent some free AoC special ingame items

Message says it's a reward from the king

Greetings!

You have been a long and thrustworthy participant in our community, and as such we would like to thank you for helping us form Age of Conan into the marvelous product it is today. The last weeks has seen some serious enhancment to the game, and with the release we will be opening several new areas and neverbefore seen content in the launch version of the game. What and where it is? You have to find out for yourself!

As a sign of gratitude for your aid, we are pleased to offer you the in-game item used by those loyal to King Conan: The Drinking Cape. This item will allow your characters (one game account only) to free of charge demand the very sought after alcholic drink of "Ambrosia" - free and in unlimited supplies for life! After having claimed your cape, merely find one of the kegs in the finer Inns of Hyboria and click it whilst wearing your cape to receive your drink.

A lifetime supply of drink :D

Not sure I'm going to buy the game tho as I don't like paying monthly. Especially £9/mo :(

shame that i didnt see this thread long time ago ;] Lineage 2 is worth seeing, one bad thing that comes with this title, if you are really in to this game you have no life :)

btw.: does anyone play tabula rasa?
