Logitech k740: 2 buttons pressed max?

Ok so i have a Thermatake Callenger Ultimate at this moment but i'm looking for a replacement.
This since the backlighting is starting to fade and is alot dimmer now.

So, since my rig's theme is black and white i'm looking for a white backlit membrame keyboard.
This since i like the low profile buttons feel and can't stand the tower high mechanical keys (sorry guys, my choice).

So i thought i found the perfect replacement being the Logitech k740 with white backlighting.

Turns out, it' can't handle more than 2 buttons pressed at once for some people.
Are there any k740 owners on here who can confirm this?
Also, i'm looking for the model with a "\" key underneath the "<- backspace key>, since i use the arrow keys and not WASD and "/" is reload for me since DOOM.

I want to move away from the expensive gaming keyboards with all the macro buttons and crap i never use, but pay for.

Suggestions and info on the 2 buttons max thing are welcome!
:D

dont think any membrame keyboard can handle more than 2 buttons at a time.. i could be wrong but i have never seen one..

Then i'm afraid you are mistaken since my current Challenger ultimate is membrame as well and i can press more than 3 buttons at once and it works fine.

Also the new one's like the Logitech Orion spark can do it as well.

The thing is, the problem appears when pressing shift+space+w pressed at once in games.
Aka running forward and jumping, hell might even add another button to throw a grenade or turn on a flashlight.
All this works fine on my current keyboard, but since i use arrow keys i guess i have to wait till a k740 owner stumbles on this topic to tell me if those work ok with 2 or more other buttons at once.

Are you using USB and if yes, can you try it on a PS2 port?

Apparently USB "x"-key-rollover is different than over PS2. I doubt it'll make a difference but it's one of those last resort things :p

i use arrow keys as well.
some games i can jrun and jump (thief) shift up and num 0
some games i cant (skyrim) always just thought it was the game.

I didnt buy the k740 yet (luckily) since i just in time found out about the ghosting (for W+shift+space) problem.
Nobody on forums who have the k740 and the ghosting speak of using usb or ps2 tho, so there is no way to find out if that helps.

Untill somebody tries it out that is.
