Damn-it all to hell, I was in bed. I was on just a couple hours sleep and the Ex wife bought a Jeep as a second car and she came and got me in the afternoon and we rode around in the hot sun with the top off. That sucked any energy out of me, the ride, not her, and any energy I had left was sweated out.
I did just finish watching the video at 4:30 AM here. Yes, I'm a freak of nature and barely sleep and sleep odd hours.
I very much enjoyed the video. I was disappointed no naked women were running about. Happened once with a mate when we were doing live video, his wife from Barbados, who is 20 years younger than him, came up behind him naked and he didn't have a view of his own cam showing. I said something to him, she ran out...I about had a hard attack...uh...HEART attack and he has emphysema and was laughing so hard he could hardly breathe, I thought I was going to have to call 911 long distance.
Hope you get all the niggly bits figured out.

So I get up, sit down with my morning coffee and read stories about hard attacks on a
hardware forum (well, not only, I'll admit). Yeah, I think today is starting out pretty good. :lol:

I've really started getting into Linus' live streams and been hoping you'd start doing it too as you guys are the main ones I pay attention to.
Once you've sorted the A/V quality issues, I think you'll need to start doing it in a regular time slot, be it weekly, bi-weekly or monthly to see viewer numbers increase, I stumbled on it last night, but had to turn off half way cos I had other things to do.
I think you should have someone pulling questions out of the forum and Skyped to you so that the scrolling and such is minimised, they'll be able to monitor the stream and all that kind of goodness.
Going further forward, it would be cool if you could get designers/engineers from different companies on for Q&A too (especially Corsair George) and joining up for a stream with Linus would be fucking awesome, seeing you too discuss/rant about different things would make me have a (totally straight and hetro) crisis
Anyway, good luck with it guys, I hope it goes well.

yeah i agree with the skyping, but also the re-occurance of the whole live thing. i think maybe during the week or two before a topic for each talk should be discussed, and it could be a 30 min chit chat 30 min topic related Q&A

I think this is a great idea, but I would echo that a regular time slot is the way to go. I watched the recording, but missed the live feed, as I don't think you gave enough notice that it was going to happen.
It would be more efficient to have someone else feeding you the questions, but the way you did it was part of your style - I don't think I could handle you talking as quick as Linus.:lol:
