hey guys

I recently overclocked my 580 lightning to 1008mhz on the core,

now I know for a fact I can go be beyond that but Im happy with it atm, thing is I did occt stress testing for 22 minutes and I also did heaven.

however when I go into a game as soon as I start driving the screen quickly goes black for around 2 seconds and then comes back into the game. Me as usual being completely obvious to to realise that the card has gone back to the stock 832mhz. I have updated the drivers aswell, on after burner I have the core voltage at 143+(mv)(1.149v)

different things (games/benchmarks) can be stable while others will crash.

heaven and vantage tend to be the best benchmarks for me, if they dont crash it not much will but it seems you have found something better? what game is it thats crashing it?

i have also seen some drivers not like to oc some games when others are ok, bad company being one of the newer games like this for me. i could oc ok with the 180 driver family but the 190s would crash, laters ones have been ok.

stupid software imo

nfs pro street, it quickly goes to black screen then comes back again, pc doesnt restart or anything lke that,I was considering adding more volts?

hmm ea games ftl :/

idk the limits of volts or your cooling on that card tbh but its worth a go, i would test driver versions too tbh.

Can't you make a unique profile for when you're using NFS in Afterburner? I haven't had a chance to overclock my card yet but I read on the box that it has customisable profiles
