Little devil Build

I have started a new build and taught it best to put it here that will be used mostly for work but also for gaming.

I have bought a little devil case and now decided I'm not a fan of so much red being on it. I have it stripped ready to send it off to be sprayed when I figure out what colour I will use. I'm tempted to just do mostly black with a small bit of white then use blue/black motherboard, blue water and blue fans. Would anyone have any other suggestions?

The budget for this one I would prefer to keep under 3000 so I will have more for my next pc build next year so on some things i'm hoping to cut back on like the ram below and.

I have these sticks of ram in mind though if go with that colour scheme above will change to the black versions of it or get the second set below.

the ripjaws are not on the evga supported ram list, but the snipers are

(not sure if they are now though, via a BIOS update)

. I might just stick with the snipers then as the lower voltage is good also but I'm not such a fan anymore of how they look.

Huge case. i like those litle devil cases alot, but alitle bad that they come in so many coloures. Funnier to paint it your way :-)

This is the way I have the case for the moment, when get a free few hours from work will drop it in to be sprayed but have to decide on the colours first

Cool. Its a massive case for watercooling so it will be awesome to see how it turns out.

This build got left on hold for the last month or two. Came back with the intent of starting up the sr2 build again only to find an sr3 is in the works. I have decided to set it up as a gaming rig until the sr3 comes out then continue with an updated version of the original plan. I have bought this week for it a p67 sabertooth (bought it because i like the thermal armor

), another d5 pump, 250mm res, 2 rx360mm xspc rads for the bottom, xspc raystorm waterblock. I think I will finish off the watercooling with a 480mm rad for the top and I have yet to decide on the cpu, gpu (most likely a gtx580 3gb), ram, hd's and psu. Harddrives and ram I would ideally like to transfer to the new build so have to take that into consideration when buying them.

I've also built another x58 rig with 24gb ram for my work needs and upgraded my server to 12gb ram.

I have decided to take the advise on here about the red as its growing on me and will do a rig with bits of red, black and white in it, only out of place bits will be the heatsinks on the motherboard.

Heres a few pics of how it is so far, deciding whether Ishould actually put in the other 360mm rad as there would be no space between them and would be touching.

loving it I'm gonna have a case very similar to this next week to move my rig into. How do you like it so far???? The case I'm getting is the XSPC Hive2 Tower very very similar in form and function to the lil devil cases. I just gotta save up some more to get a 480 rad for the roof lol but for now it'll house my RX360 kit.

I'm loving it bar one thing and its there needs to be a hole cut out to make cable routing a lot better but it shouldnt be too much work. Other than that the case is perfect for me

. Going to take my time on this one to make sure I get it exactly how I want it.

yeah I did notice that but figured with the limited pics I could find (basically the ones from XSPC) it was hard to say for sure so I'd wait til its in my hands to see whats what. Guy I bought it from is in Houston not far from me in San Antonio. He's shipping Monday so I should have it no later than Wednesday

most likely Tuesday

Had I of known that early enough I might of driven up to get it

Got it for 200$ shipped and it sells for 499$ new

I picked up some bits power fittings and Tygon tubing. This is how its going so far. The Gpu's loop will be a 480mm rad at the top. Putting in a 480mm for future plans rather than needing it now.
