I think many people have struggled with Blu-ray players on Windows systems because of Sony's strict rules regarding software. For many, an easier solution has been an old PS3 plugged into their monitor.

I'm in the market for at least three. Physical media; or you'll find you don't own the content you bought at some point in the not too distant.
