LG 3D Tv

Hey, been watching a few 3D movies lately (X-man, Captain American and 47 Ronin) and I was wondering do everyone experience some 2D scenes and some 3D scene and text are blurry?

The Tv is a JVC 55" Full HD Smart 3D LED TV LT-55N935 and we have 3D glasses, Sync view glasses and LG 3D monitor glasses.

Any suggestions will be highly apprecaited

using my monitor, i notice no blur of text unless its out of the corner of my eyes, but thats with active 3d.
COuld be a refresh issue or a proximity to size issue.

all movies run at 24Mhz and i don't know how to change it and why does it only happen specific times

Very true, not so sure then, might have to see what panel they are using on the tv tech. And also my other thought could be proximity to size.

you know about "this is retina"
basically if you are too close a display starts to look lower res or you can see pixels im assuming this is the same with tvs both in size and proximity if you sit a little further away does the text get better?

I see. My mother suggested the same thing because we have a 55" and it looks almost as big as the room (that's how close we sit). and there's no way i can test it because the living room wont allow me.

Captain American really looked low res. I will see what i can get out of my daddy but i don't think he would go for a smaller Tv because we don't believe in down grading.

Bigger is not better when it comes to pixel density, have this discussion with a guiy at work who sits less that 6 feet away from i think a 70" and he wants bigger ...

For a desk ill never go above 27" @1080p, 32" at 1440p

but my daily Tv is a 38" @1080p for my bedroom and i sit about 7-10 feet away and i've not had an issue with quality :)

Use this and see what it says.
Hope this helps.

Yes like I said i don't know much all i know is I have a 42" 1080p tv in my room and a 55" 1080p in the living room...
Any recommends?

Where do I get the size?

Move the sofa or prove a point would be how i would do it.
If a new Tv is on the line maybe suggest 4k .. or 2k but not seen many tvs at 2k... that way the pixel densities will be "better" however even at 4k a 1080p image will be the same. Sadly some people believe the guy at a tv store cos thats the closest they can get to a specialist, not a bad thing just all they can get your lucky you come to a forum to get impartial well semi impartial advice about everything. :)

you just put the info in then it tells you the min perfect distance.

Thank you. Will tell him to build th living room bigger (in my dreams).. but thank you helped a lot. DiDnt want him to waste unnecessary money

Thats fine at least with all the information rather than a sales pitch the choice is easier :) plus ya a pc gamer real life is too low definition ;)

:p the worst part of all is we have the tv already but i dont do 3d gaming so on FHD things look amazing that is wen i use my pc or watch bluray movies.

I think dvds now are somewhere between 480p and 720p not sure what. So a blu-ray is gonna be miles better anyways :) but at least you know the solution get blu rays lol ;)

I would say blury text is different to being able to see pixels, are you sure the text is blury?
i can't explain but you get main text than it look like shadow or sometimes two texts

yes but when you buy 3D movies, you either get a standard bluray DVD with the 3D bluray disc or you could just switch off 3D and than everything is clear

Two texts, that sounds like some sort of 3D effect not working correctly, there is deffo nothing in the menu panel to alter 3D settings for this? And with a shadow effect as well...I'll have a Google for you.

I can't see how it is the TV that's wrong because it didn't happen in X man or 47 ronin and if i switch 2D to 3D than everything is fine (when watching normal tv).
There is but my daddy went to samsung (he says they the best when it comes to TV's) and they told him how to set up the JVC tv and it looked much better than when we bought it. I only see such problems when watching captain american and one or two times in x man
