Been an AMD user for the last few years but next year i've decided i'm switching. I'm not a hardcore enthusiast and operate on a limited budget and that's why it's always been AMD for me in recent years. I have to say though that i've been very impressed with the I5's CPU's so that's where I will start. I feel i'm falling behind with my current setup (don't know why I just do) lol
I can't use XMP RAM settings with my muchkin RAM and then there's just the whole feeling I have that AMD is falling backwards so quickly which is such a shame. If I upgraded to AMD 1190T for instance with a crosshairIV board I imagine the jump would be quite big. But with Nvidia stuff it just seems cleaner and more stable/reliable, does that make any sense?
We need AMD to be challenging Nvidia but I can only (keep up at the back) for so long. This wont happen for 6 months (the upgrade) and by that time who knows what will be available
