LCD Price rise on its way

Big Thanks to the EU who have decided that they should stick on 14% levvie on any LCD's that are not made inside the EU

Great - that means that any LCD bigger than 19" will cost even more than they do now

Apparently this is in contravention with the Information Technology Agreement (ITA) that states that levvies should not be encouraged

Hands up who wants to slay thew EU!!

Just a little frustrating cos in the UK a lot of pople are just waiting for the prices to sink to the right level before taking the plunge.

Guess i will have to wait a little longer now as in a years time they will all be at a reasonable price so the tax will not have much effect (I HOPE). If not looks like the current telly stays complete with knackered on off switch, and ten tonne weight.
